Taos Land Trust Acquires 20 Acres To Advance "Community Conservation"

One thing that always makes us happy here at the RS & E Group is seeing land conservation agencies across the country taking proactive steps to conserve sacred places and fostering stewardship by utilizing conservation easements in addition to real property transactions that protect critical habitat and lands that hold a unique relationship with communities.

Dark skies over New Mexico

One such transaction recently took place in Northern New Mexico, as the Taos Land Trust finalized the completion of a twenty acre parcel in Taos County with the intention of remediating the property and allowing public use of the newly acquired land.

The Taos News reported on this exciting land conservation transaction on April 2, 2016. You can read the article in its entirety by clicking here.

Congratulations are in order to the Taos Land Trust and their commitment to conserving such a vital piece of New Mexico's history and culture.
